Ep 63 – Preparedness Plan

What do you do when you receive this voicemail?

“Honey, the wildfire is headed toward the house, we were told to evacuate, going to {psht} {crackle}”

Now he/she won’t answer the phone, lines are probably overloaded.
Do you  A. Panic, B. Go to your pre-arranged rally point and hug?

Having a detailed preparedness plan can cut through the confusion and get you re-united with your family ASAP.

So Check out this episode and there are 2 others that I will link to below. Also for the first time I have made bonus content available on our new youtube channel, so check that out (link below).

More Contests

This blog isn’t really about pimping other people’s contests but it is about giving you information about things that can help you, so I will post some contests/giveaways/etc, that I think you might be interested in.  Even though this reduces my chances of winning I just can’t let them go on in secret.

So in that vein here is another SPECTACULAR contest being run by Jack Spirko over at The Survival Podcast.  This one is for a Shelf Reliance brand Harvest 72 food rotation system.  I’ve lusted after one of these since I’ve heard of them but the cash just hasn’t been there for me.  I am able to afford FREE though so not that I don’t want you to win or anything but I have a spot reserved for this bad boy in my basement.

So head over to The Survival Podcast contest link  CLICK HERE

Or if you wish you can go direct to the contest by CLICKING HERE , but hey take a look over at Jack’s stuff because he’s doing great stuff over there and bringing you these sweet contests.

Episode 56 – Coupons! (and once a month cooking)

I got sucked into some of those “extreme” coupon shows the other day, and started researching.  A few days later (plus publishing delays) and you get a fresh show.  It’s a short one but really how much can you say about coupons?

OH! I almost forgot, I also discuss “once a month cooking” , just another way to save money.

Episode 55 – Funeral Arrangements

Funerals are something we try to avoid thinking about on a day to day basis, and this can really get us in trouble.  The fact that we are distraught and emotional when we are trying to deal with Funeral Directors is used by them to get extra cash.  So within this podcast we discuss some resources and ideas to save money and help you pre-plan everything you need, to either help you  in your time of grieving or help your family in theirs.

Check out Funerals.org for more resources.
