Episode 29 – Homemade Fire Starters

You ready to use some of that lint you have in the bag on your dryer?!  Today I will discuss making some super easy and cheap homemade fire starters.  These bad boys burn a solid 10 minutes and will get your fire burning super easy.  I take 3 of these put them under full sized logs in the fireplace and don’t even use kindling.  Can you say “Roaring Fire”?!

All you need are Wax, Lint, and Egg Cartons (or condiment cups).  Guess what I have all these items listed AND MORE just below the podcast, check them out and buy something you know you want to…

These work awesome! Been doing this since the Boy Scout days and I have a drawer full right now. If you are a woodcarver, shavings also work well too.

Yeah I originally used sawdust, but lint is much more plentiful around here. Great to take camping or put in that “survival kit” too.
