Episode 26 – Truffle Balls

Tis the season to have to find creative gifts for a bunch of people you could care less about, and plenty that you do care about.  Looking to save money?  Want something easy yet original?  Do you want something creative and handmade?  Yes?!  Make some home made truffles!  People will fall in love with you all over again, they will think you hang out with Martha Stewart or something.  And you know what?  IT’S FREAKIN EASY!

You are probably saying “so all the buildup get to it dude”.  Alright I’m on it.

In the podcast thing below I tell you how to make these little balls of joy.  Then I will include links that if you buy stuff from them my children won’t starve… it is getting really cold outside…

  1. You know me well enough to jokingly say I’ll go after anything that is referred to as “little balls of joy” 🙂 Truffles rock!

  2. rhino says:

Did you say there would be a recipe?

  3. Yolanda says:

If you add some liquor to those truffle centers, I am SSSSSOOOOOO coming to your party!! 😉

  4. Another tip: Take the mix out of the fridge and let it sit on the counter for about 30 minutes, to take the chill off. It will be a little difficult to work with, at first, but then the warmth from your hands will help make it more malleable.

Also – you will be a mess after making several of these. It is fact. It is also fun, so enjoy! I usually wash my hands and start over, about half way through.
