Be really careful with the pre-packaged groups of food. Usually there is a lot of stuff in there that you won’t like. You may pay a bit more but it is usually wiser to pick your own long term storage food. Also those types of purchases tend to create one of 2 responses, 1. I’m set and I can forget about it. or 2. buyers remorse, I bought all this crap and I never needed it. I will do a program later on my philosophy regarding food storage.
Yeah, I’d rather build my own but threw it out there cuz it seemed interesting…
Also, do you actually have that Wagan Jump Starter? The reviews on it seem kinda 50/50…
I do NOT own the Wagan, YET. All my research points to it being best in class. Most of the reviews of any of the jump starters seem 50/50. Spirko reviewed his on YouTube (check the survival podcast), he recommends them and I have been looking at them for quite awhile. The only reason I didn’t buy it when I bought mine was I was done broke, so I cheaped out. I do plan on it being one of my next purchases.
